CITATIONS
I have built thousands of citations for nonfiction books, adhering to the Chicago Manual of Style's guidance on endnotes, footnotes, and bibliographies. I'm proficient in building citations from the ground up, starting with the links provided to me by authors.
When doing citations work, I work directly in the manuscript, so I can place superscript numbers in their correct places considering surrounding punctuation.
To be clear, I do not fact-check or decide which citations belong in a manuscript. An author or editor provides the links that need citations built, and I build them out. For footnotes or endnotes, the author or editor also specifies which sentence or paragraph each note corresponds with.
